This modern halogen torchere represent the aestetical value of the Italian Minimalist aproach, sensuality and effectivness in lighting. Conceived by the founder of Artemide, Ernesto Gismondi in 1988. Made of anodized aluminium, the first shade make the light bounce and caress the superb sculptural convex bowl shaped shade which contain a powerfull halogen lightbulb that could blast the whole room in a sunglass required situation. A foot dimmer is supplied to tame all this power. An extremely heavy cast iron base keep thing in place. The powder coated aluminium stem graciously support the two shade upstair. Measure: 80 inches in height. The top shade (20 inches wide) is mounted on a sturdy pivotal mechanism permiting left to right angled setting. Rated at 400 watts maximum for top one and 150 watts for lower one. Item no longer in production.
