W 55 / D 55 / H 81 cm seat h 45 cm
Set of six Danish teak dining room chairs designed by Vamdrup Stolefabrik, circa 1960s. There are two captain chairs and four side chairs.
This attractive set of Mid-Century Modern solid teak dining chairs is so interesting and sleek in the nearly mahogany stained teak surface. The curvature of the molded seat and back first and foremost lend a great deal of comfort to the sitter, but also offer an airy and light „floating” profile with a gentle curve that opposes the seat rail and gaps around the stiles that give it a sense of transparency. They are a very fun and relevant set for the vintage dining room.Condition Report: Fabric early and likely original, minor scuffs to legs.
